Lives Of The Parties

A random smile comes warm from the corner of the room.
He's been keeping it up for a while like the angels do.
Smiling down upon me like a good friend.
And he looks remarkably like one whose time has ended.
But his dreams are still waking him, comfort was aching
His skin became too much to bare,
But among those who cherished it, life became fragile
and the rain simply cleaned out the air.
And all the lives of the parties,
and the belles of the balls would come
And I have never seen such a waste of time,
a waste of life.
When the life they seem to want is just not right
Could it be that somebody else out by the corner
begging for one last day
And all those who've captured their lives and their destinies
simply would piss it away.
But his dreams are still waking him, comfort was aching
His skin became too much to bare,
But among those who cherished it, life became fragile
and the rain simply cleaned out the air.
And all the lives of the parties,
and the belles of the balls would come.
He sat there thinking, "i've woken up again, much to my utter dismay."
Couldn't he look out the window to see
that he was blessed with a very good day?
And all the lives of the parties,
and the belles of the balls would come.
But his dreams are still waking him, comfort was aching
His skin became too much to bare,
But among those who cherished it, life became fragile
and the rain simply cleaned out the air.
And all the lives of the parties,
and the belles of the balls would come.
